This year will be one of our most exciting and challenging courses yet as we focus on hooking a field rug.
Wild flowers fill our hearts. We all have a little bit of a wild heart inside of us and that is why we love these beautiful blooms that pop up unexpectedly and colour our world.
The first time I ever saw a poppy, they were growing wild on this hill with the sea in the distance like this one. I was astounded by the beauty.
In this kit and in the course you will learn to create this field of wildflowers, the woodlands, a soft summer sky, the distant sea and hillside.
It will focus on hooking landscapes in a painterly and creative way using a wealth of materials and interesting colours.
I will take you step by step through the process of the whole rug, looking over and hooking each material in the kit. You will be guided all the way.
I will also talk a lot about my process and how I create as I hook this rug with you.
With over thirty five videos and simple step by step instruction, as well as an interesting look at approaching rug hooking creatively, you'll be ready to create your own field rug story!
